资源简介:
This dataset contains the results of a study evaluating the effects of short periods of incubation during egg storage (SPIDES) on egg quality, embryonic development, hatching traits, and chick quality. A total of 1,800 eggs were collected, stored at 16°C and 75% relative humidity for 7, 14, or 21 days, and divided into SPIDES and control groups. SPIDES was applied at 3-day or 5-day intervals, with data recorded on egg weight loss, Haugh Unit, embryo weight, hatching time, hatchability, embryonic mortality, and chick quality. The dataset demonstrates significant improvements in these parameters, especially for eggs stored for 14 and 21 days.
