urbisphere-dm: MetaDB [RAW]

Information about the stations, instruments, configurations, organisational networks and deployments during the Urbisphere campaigns in Berlin, Paris, Bristol and Freiburg was stored in a database system consisting of an SQL database (MariaDB) and a GUI (PHP) named SmUrObs. Copies of the SmUrObs SQL were extracted from clients in a MariaDB cluster for processing, diagnostic, publication, and backup purposes, using pyhton routines named MetaDB. MetaDB combines the features of the database objects described in literature (https://doi.org/10.5194/gi-13-393-2024) as InventoryDB and DeploymentDB. The SmUrObs/MetaDB database was exported daily when changes were made, enabling diagnostics to be performed at an earlier point in time in case of missing or mislabelled data.
