The volumes comprise signed copies of the minutes of the Executive Board of the Department of Public Works, which was established in January 1959. The fortnightly meetings were attended by the Heads of Divisions within the Department. Three of the volumes are indexed and all contain, as enclosures, branch reports and other papers presented to meetings of the Executive Board.(3/8443-46, 6/26693-26694). 6 vols.Note:This description, as amended, is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
