a novel class of infectious agents has been isolated and characterized - they are neither viruses nor bacterial plasmids, but display characteristics of both. This group is referred to by us as Plasmidome and was originally isolated from healthy cattle sera as well as a multiple sclerosis brain sample (Sequences submitted 2014). The present isolates were isolated from bovine dairy milk and dairy products.
