资源简介:
Oxygen concentration data from a flume experiment conducted on 26 November 2012. Quantitative interpretation of planar oxygen optode images was done using VisiSens AnalytiCal 1 software. The color coding reflects different oxygen concentrations. Blue colors are low oxygen, red and yellow high oxygen (black=no oxygen, white=100% airsaturation). Oxygen concentration data were calculated by VisiSens AnalytiCal 1 software from the calibrated planar optodes. The folders contain VisiSens oxygen sensing camera images positioned at 5 cm distances along the sidewall of the laboratory flume incubating sediment with tar balls, on 26-November 2012, at times: 8:33 when flow in the flume was initiated, 10:45 when flow continued, 15:11 when flow continued to oxygenate the sediment, 15:46 when flow was stopped in order to initiate oxygen depletion, 18:00 after deoxygenation of the sediment. Data include the calibrated oxygen pictures and associated folders with tables containing the calibrated values from the color coded oxygen pictures. The tables have 928 columns and 742 rows with each cell corresponding to one pixel on the associated image. An Excel "read me" file is provided that explains how the text file associated with each of the oxygen distribution pictures should be read. This Excel file can be used as a template for importing the txt files with the oxygen data. This dataset includes data funded under FIO Y1.x041.000:0004.
