Investigating Cultural Influences on Rumination in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Rumination is a transdiagnostic process that is consistently linked to the development and maintenance of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, research in the field has predominantly focused on Western populations and overlooked how cultural variables may influence the relationship between rumination and PTSD. This thesis addresses this gap by investigating how cultural variables moderate the relationship between rumination and PTSD symptoms across three studies.
