Lactate and ethanol chain elongation in presence of lactose.. Bioref_3

In this study, set of OCF experiments was conducted to investigate the influence of various concentration of lactose in presence of electron donors (ethanol, lactate or both at equal molar concentration) on CE performance with particular eye put on selectivity of formed carboxylates. Furthermore, structure of inoculum and enriched microbial community of representative samples were compared and characterised to explore the community variation and enrichment of functional microbial groups.
