Long-term hydrometeorological and permafrost monitoring at the Scotty Creek Research Station, Northwest Territories, Canada

The purpose of this data is to support long-term monitoring and research on permafrost thaw and associated feedbacks in the Dehcho Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. The data were collected at the Scotty Creek Research Station (SCRS), location in a peatland-dominated landscape underlain by discontinuous permafrost. The data generated at SCRS form a core contribution to Phase 2 of the Dehcho Collaborative on Permafrost (DCoP-2) project, which aims to increase the quality, quantity, availability, and utility of permafrost-relevant data. The data are intended to support research, monitoring, and collaborative applications focused on understanding permafrost thaw-related impacts in the region.
