Mapping bacteria-bacteria interactions in the Arabidopsis phyllosphere by single strain drop-out and drop-in experiments

A 15 strain synthetic community was assembled and emerging interactions between theses strains were mapped by single strain drop-out experiments in planta. To the same 15 strains one additional strain was added at a time (15+1 strains) and interactions with the 15 conserved strains were mapped based on relative abundance changes of the 15 strains in the community.
