Alkbh1 is a tRNA demethylase that is associated with worse outcome in glioblastoma. Here, we overexpressed Alkbh1 in rodent 9L gliosarcoma cells using stable Lenti-viral transfection. After polyA mRNA enrichment, libraries were prepared using NEBNext Ultra II RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina. Our analysis reveals strong impact of Alkbh1 on glioma transcriptome as well as a strong enrichment of different Alternative splicing programs.
