Data from: Convergent genome streamlining accompanies independent miniaturization in the world's smallest fishes
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the supporting data for the study "Convergent genome streamlining accompanies independent miniaturization in the world's smallest fishes" by Sudasinghe, Matschiner, Britz, Conway, Tan, Salzburger, Peichel, and Rüber (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 2026; DOI: 10.1073/pnas.2614605123). The archive provides: (i) time-calibrated phylogenies — a 335-taxon BEAST chronogram and a 33-taxon pruned time tree; (ii) a genome-profiling dataset (Dataset S1) reporting k-mer-based genome size, heterozygosity, repeat/unique and GC content, ploidy, and miniaturization status for 261 taxa; and (iii) a comparative genomic dataset for 33 focal taxa, comprising gene- and intron-architecture summaries and transposable-element (repeat content and Kimura-divergence age) tables. A README file describing all files is included. Raw sequencing reads used in k-mer profiling are available at NCBI under BioProjects PRJNA1393636, PRJNA1393767, PRJNA1483025, PRJEB19273, and PRJEB15524.
