As the capital of Sichuan Province, Chengdu is located in the western Sichuan Basin, with geographical coordinates ranging from 30°05′47″N to 31°26′42″N and 102°59′24″E to 104°53′31″E, covering a total area of 12,110.05 km². The Chengdu entry in the Data Encyclopedia includes spatial distribution data of administrative divisions, population (2010) and GDP (2015) of each district and county under Chengdu; spatial distribution data of tourist attractions (2014); spatial distribution data classified by altitude; spatial distribution and expansion data of artificial surface cover (construction land) in Xi'an urban area from 2000, 2010 and 2015; as well as statistical data on Chengdu's climate, population, GDP, urban artificial surface cover area and other aspects.
