2020 Census Block Groups (Census/TIGER)
收藏资源简介:
This is the 2020 vintage of the 2020 TIGER/Line Census Block Groups. Block Groups (BGs) are clusters of blocks within the same census tract. Each census tract contains at least one BG, and BGs are uniquely numbered within census tracts. Block groups generally contain between 600 and 3,000 people. A BG usually covers a contiguous area but never crosses county or census tract boundaries. Date: 1/21/2021 Update: Irregular. While Census boundaries are updated every 10 years, the Census Bureau makes annual corrections to the geographies as needed. These updates are usually minor and BMC reviews them every few years.
