Cancer cell lines were edited by CRISPR-Cas9 to evaluate the oncogenicity of specific genes. The oncogenicity was determined based on the changes in variant allele frequencies in bulk cells treated with targeted drugs. In these models, the efficacy of novel treatment approaches were evaluated in terms of transcript reads by Amplicon sequencing.
