Whole transcriptome of Portulaca umbraticola. Portulaca umbraticola strain:Single Red

Portulaca umbraticola is an ephemeral summer bedding plant, which is tolerant to heat stress and has recently become an important part of the floriculture industry. Recently, we have demonstrated the mechanism controlling the timing of flower opening as well as the factors affecting flower longevity, but molecular mechanisms underlying these process is largely unknown. The goal of our research is to establish basic tools for molecular genetic studies in P. umbraticola. To accomplish this, we report the comprehensive gene expression information of P. umbraticola.
