Worldwide steel exports: railway track material 2007-2022

Total exports of steel railway track material came to around 2.6 million metric tons in 2022. In the last 15 years period, the highest amount was recorded in 2019 with 4.9 million metric tons. Also, in 2022, over 1.8 billion metric tons of crude steel were produced globally.
