Data Set for Dynamic Expansion Planning of a Commercial Virtual Power Plant through Coalition with Distributed Energy Resources considering Rival Competitors

This database contains data essential for developing the problem of the paper named "Dynamic Expansion Planning of a Commercial Virtual Power Plant through Coalition with Distributed Energy Resources considering Rival Competitors". The loaded data includes the file "representative_days.csv," which contains representative days of the month under study (january and July), selected through a clustering method based on k-medoids. The file "generated_scenarios_for_july.csv" includes 9 scenarios generated from the representative days of July. Similarly, the file "generated_scenarios_for_january.csv" contains 9 scenarios generated from the representative days of January. The file 'generated_scenarios_DERs.csv' includes the scenarios and data of the Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) participating in the coalition process and their behavior in the auctions, as used in Figure 5 and derived from Table 8 .Lastly, the file 'generated_scenarios_rival_VPPs_behavior.csv' contains the bidding prices of rival VPPs in the auctions to acquire the services of the DERs, with data derived from Table 7.
