Dataset of host, habitat and vegetation parameters in relation to gastrointestinal parasite infections of small mammalian hosts in Madagascar

The dataset contains information on the endoparasite infection status of 903 individuals of four small mammal species (<em>Microcebus murinus</em>, <em>M. ravelobensis</em>, <em>Eliurus myoxinus</em>, <em>Rattus rattus</em>) in relation to host-specific (sex, body condition, population density) and habitat-specific factors (degree of habitat fragmentation, fragment size, distance to the edge of the fragment, percentage of edge habitat, vegetation structure).
