The captioned experiment was long in dispute for interpreting its small result compared with the expected measurement. To investigate the origin of those comparison numbers, I simulated the experiment on a computer, from which the path difference between the two arms and the splits between the two coincident beams were obtained for calculating the average fringes. The zeroed results of the simulation trials after their average treatments and the analyzed root cause leading to such unexpected outcomes revealed the reason why the M-M experiment measured a small result of the fringe shift. Also, scrutinizing its operational method also found that the repeated manual adjustments to the movable mirror certainly brought uncertainty about the accuracy of the original observations. Thus, this work suggests the M-M experiment to be concluded as delivering no result instead of reporting a null result, meaning that Newton's conception of absolute space may still be a valid proposal for the science of physics. In addition, this manuscript also suggests two new ideas to detect the possible existence of absolute space, one is to measure the free-fall acceleration rate variation at different latitudes within certain time intervals, and the other is to conduct radar wave measurements with the proposed melioration, see another preprint by the same author titled \"Gravity's fluctuation derives from its speed—a constant to the absolute space presumed\" at https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/UM1TZV).
