In lymphatic research, human dermal lymphatic endothelial cells (HDLECs) represent the âgold standardâ, but have the disadvantage of losing their identity and proliferative capacity over time. This study relates to comparing the properties of HDLECs with an available immortalised lymphatic endothelial cell line (imLEC), that could become a promising tool for lymphatic disease modelling. We performed RNA sequencing of imLEC and HDLECs to compare expression profiles between these two cell lines.
