Daily commute distance by urban dwellers in India 2019

A majority of the urban dwellers, at about 70 percent, across India traveled less than ten kilometers for work and education according to the survey. On average, it took the respondents around 27 minutes to travel up to ten kilometers in the urban cities across the south Asian country. Walking was the most preferred mode of transportation by urban dwellers, followed by personal motorbike.

根据调查，印度大部分城市居民，约占70%，在工作和教育方面的出行距离不超过十公里。在东南亚国家的主要城市中，受访者平均花费约27分钟的时间完成十公里的旅行。对于城市居民而言，步行是最受欢迎的出行方式，其次是个人摩托车。
