S1-GRiTS: Descending-Pass Sentinel-1 Gridded Time Series for MGRS Tile 17MPU, Ecuador, 2017–2025

This dataset component contains scene-level Sentinel-1 SAR backscatter time series for MGRS tile 17MPU in descending passes from 2017 to 2025, generated by the S1-GRiTS. The data are organized as gridded Zarr stores and preserve individual Sentinel-1 acquisition records rather than temporally aggregated composites. The component includes separate descending-orbit data cubes. This track-specific organization allows users to analyze temporal behavior under distinct acquisition geometries, compare ascending and descending observations, and examine long-term Sentinel-1 backscatter dynamics used by S1-GRiTS. This component supports the decadal time-series and acquisition-geometry analyses in the associated manuscript.
