Net assets of regulated open-end funds worldwide Q4 2022, by region and asset type

At the end of the fourth quarter of 20212 the value of net assets of regulated open-end funds worldwide was highest in the Americas, under the category of equities. That quarter, equities in the Americas amounted to a value of over 17.1 trillion U.S. dollars. The Americas also held the highest value of net assets of bonds and money market funds - at approximately 6.6 trillion and five trillion U.S. dollars respectively. The value of net assets of balanced/mixed funds was highest in Europe at the end of the last quarter of 2022, at almost 3.5 trillion U.S. dollars.
