Antimicrobial resistance study and metagenomic analysis in bacterial pneumonia by NGS

The aim of the project is to identify antimicrobial resistance genes (AMR) and metagenomic analysis of sputum samples from pneumonia patients using high-throughput NGS sequencing of untreated samples and pure bacterial cultures and to compare the data obtained using full genome and targeted NGS with the classical disk diffusion method of antimicrobial sensitivity (EUCAST standard).
