Peer Pings and Self-Control: WhatsApp Group Norms, Short- Video Algorithms, and Risky Adolescent Behaviour in Indonesia
收藏官方服务:
资源简介:
This dataset comprises survey and trace-based measures from 1024 Indonesian secondary students nested within 52 classes across 18 schools, including multi-item scales of self-control, WhatsApp-based peer injunctive and descriptive norms, and risky online/offline behaviors, alongside smartphone-derived notification density and detailed short-video platform usage (TikTok/Reels/Shorts, autoplay status, and algorithmic-feed share). Variables are organized for multilevel analysis (student/class), with item-level Likert responses and constructed indices (e.g., algorithmic exposure composite), enabling CFA and MSEM to examine how peer norms, self-control, and algorithmic curation jointly predict adolescent risk outcomes.
