Data collection of damage to Puerto Rico's infrastructure due to Hurricane Maria and the 2019-2020 Puerto Rico earthquakes - Mission 2, in RAPID: Multi-Hazard Damage to Puerto Rico’s Infrastructure - Investigation of the Interaction of Hurricane and Earthquakes

The aim of this reconnaissance activity was to investigate the potential interaction of two separate extreme events that affected the island of Puerto Rico. The first event was Hurricane Maria in 2017, and the second was a series of earthquakes that occurred in late 2019 and early 2020. The focus of the data collection remained on regions, structures, and elements that experienced the impacts of both events. Therefore, the focus of the reconnaissance was on the south side of the island. The data collection methods included multiple image types and UAS image and video.
