The LakeIce dataset consists of pixel-level backscatter values from satellite images of an area of approximately 6,000 square kilometers in Yukon, Canada. These time series are extracted from 30 years of data from ERS-1/2, Radarsat, and Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar satellites, with each time series representing the temporal changes of a single pixel. The dataset contains 129,280 time series of length 161, covering nearly 6 months of daily data, and is categorized into three classes: bedfast ice, floating ice, and land.
