This data file contains new records of 230-Th normalised fluxes of lithogenics, iron and productivity from three Indian sector core sites (TT1811-50GGC, TT1811-34GGC and TT1811-30GGC). The file additionally contains a newly presented xsU record from MD11-3357 and MD12-3396Cq and lithogenic and iron fluxes from MD12-3396Cq.
Tables S1 - S4 are also archived:
Table S1. Concentrations of thorium isotopes (229 and 230) and Uranium 238 in Bq kg-1 across all replicates of the three sediment standards measured in this study. Certified values in Bq kg-1 for IAEA-385 are displayed. Measured elemental concentrations in ppm (ug/g) for Fe, Ba, Mn and Ca are also displayed across all standards with certified values for HISS-1. Mean average 230Th for IAEA-385 is notably offset from the certified value due to difficulties applying an appropriate tailing correction due to the large 232Th content.
Table S2. Comparison of multi element results for MC45, previously published values are sourced from Traill et al., (2022). Method 1 refers to analytical batches consisting of TT1811-50GGC sediment samples, Method 2 refers to analytical batches consisting of TT1811-34GGC and TT1811-30GGC sediment samples. The mean average and Relative standard deviation (RSD) % is given for all measured samples and for Method 2 specifically.
Table S3. Comparison of maximum xsU concentrations and average sedimentation rates during the LGM (18-28 ka) across Indian sector core sites. *A larger xsU concentration of 6.0 for site DCR-1PC is also presented which occurs at 30.1 ka.
Table S4. measured lithogenic fluxes and modelled dust fluxes for the LGM (19-23 ka) across Indians sector sediment cores presented in figure 7. Modelled dust fluxes are sourced from Albani et al., (2014) and taken from nearest values to core site localities.
