Experimental design Spatial transcriptomic profiling was performed on healthy human gastric corpus tissue from three donors using the NanoString GeoMx DSP Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA).Tissue sections were segmented into five anatomical regions: foveola, isthmus, neck, base, and muscularis mucosae. Within each region, epithelial and stromal compartments were separated using morphology marker-based segmentation (E-cadherin and Vimentin). Segments corresponding to regions 1–4 include both epithelial and stromal compartments, while region 5 (muscularis mucosae) contains stromal cells only.
