Research on the Impact and Optimization of Rib Profile in Structural Air Ducts on Ventilation in Ship's Engine Room

This article employs FLUENT software for simulation to investigate the impact of T-shaped profiles and bulb flats on ventilation resistance within the structural ducts of ship engine rooms. Additionally, it analyzes the simulation results and explores various structural optimization schemes to reduce the resistance of structural ducts, thereby guiding the design of engine room ventilation systems with similar structural ducts. The data is obtained through FLUENT calculation and recorded in an EXCEL file.
