This dataset contains the three-dimensional upper mantle water content model beneath southern and central Tibet, derived from a published magnetotelluric resistivity model (Lü et al., 2025) combined with regional geothermal field, Moho depth, and rock-physics constraints. Water content was estimated using the MATE algorithm (Özaydın & Selway, 2020). The model covers the depth range from the Moho to 200 km and the region approximately 85°–93°E, 28°–34°N.
