Report on user feedback

This document reviews how information held in Biotas (i.e. publications such as Faunas, Floras and Mycotas) is used by a variety of<br>audiences. The methods used to gather evidence included interactive workshops, pre- workshop questionnaires, follow-up<br>interviews and desk based research. The main audiences surveyed were taxonomists, informaticians, conservationists, ecologists,<br>publishers and IT developers who routinely handle Biota information. Distribution, morphology, habitat and taxonomy are the most<br>commonly used information types (Don Kirkup, September 2013).
