Reception of unknown music from recordings in integrative music therapy methodology in a dyadic adolescent psychiatric setting

Diese Arbeit setzt sich mit Potenzial und methodischen Fragen zum Einsatz unbekannter Musik (‚unknown music‘) als Interventionstechnik der Rezeptiven Musiktherapie im Verfahren der „Integrativen Therapie“ (rIMT) im dyadischen jugendpsychiatrischen Setting auseinander. Auf Basis von medien- und musikwissenschaftlichen Aspekten zum Thema „Musikrezeption bei Jugendlichen“ sowie vor dem Hintergrund des zentralen Leibkonzeptes der „Integrativen Therapie“ (IT) wird reflektiert, welches Potenzial therapeutisch begleitetes Hören unbekannter Musik bei der Entwicklung von Mehrperspektivität haben könnte, über das Jugendliche in ihrer Beziehung zu sich selbst und ihrer Umwelt gefördert werden. Aus den Darstellungen werden Anforderungen für den praktischen Einsatz unbekannter Musik in der „rezeptiven Musiktherapie im Integrativen Verfahren“ (rIMT) formuliert. Besondere Berücksichtigung finden dabei die Integrativen Konzepte zu komplexem Lernen, die 4E-Perspektiven, die Wirk- und Heilfaktoren der „Integrativen Therapie“ sowie das Tetradische Modell der Prozessgestaltung. This paper deals with the potential and methodological issues of using unknown music as an intervention technique of receptive music therapy in the „integrative therapy“ (rIMT) process in dyadic adolescent psychiatric setting. On the basis of aspects of media and musicology on the topic of „music reception in adolescents“ and against the background of the central body concept of „integrative therapy“ (IT) it is reflected which potential therapeutically accompanied listening to unknown music could have in the development of multi-perspectivity, through which adolescents are promoted in their relationship to themselves and their environment. Requirements for the practical use of unknown music in „receptive music therapy in the integrative method“ (rIMT) are formulated from the presentations.
