Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a highly metastatic and aggressive lung cancer subtype showing universal relapse with poor prognosis. The lack of targeted therapies or potential drug targets further limit the therapeutic options for SCLC patients. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that provide an important repertoire of therapeutic targets or molecules. Bulk RNA-Seq and miRNA sequencing on SCLC cell line and patient serum samples was performed to unearth potential mechanism for SCLC metastasis and discover novel therapeutic targets .
