phi10 genome

Cystovirus phi10 is a Pseudomonas-infecting bacteriophage with a 13.5kb dsRNA segmented genome (Small, Medium, Large). This dataset includes files of sequenced phi10 genome segments, both separate and concatenated for ease of downstream analyses. This genome was assembled with de novo assembler rnaviralSPAdes (Galaxy Version 4.2.0+galaxy0) (Bushmanova, Antipov, Lapidus, & Prjibelski, 2019) from paired-end 2x150bp Illumina reads. Viral contigs were identified using NCBI Standard Nucleotide BLAST (https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi). This phi10 isolate originated from viral stocks obtained from John Dennehy (Queens College, CUNY, Queens, New York) and underwent subsequent adaptation and host range expansion in the Duffy lab to infect P. syringae pv tomato and Pseudomonas oleovorans ERA.
