Phascolarctos cinereus strain:Koala retrovirus Raw sequence reads

The purpose of the study was to comprehensively characterize all koala retrovirus (KoRV) and recombinant KoRV 1 (recKoRV1) integrations in a koala unrelated to the koala from which the full genome was determined. Integration sites determined in the current study were compared to the koala genome and additional koala genomic DNA information to obtain a comprehensive view of the evolution and distribution of these retroviral like elements in koalas.
