CTDOT Signal Control Area

The traffic signal control area polygons were developed by the CTDOT and updated by UConn and VHB. The feature class was developed by digitizing the area that represents the geographic extent of the signalized intersections. Attributes were migrated from the previous system and only the intersection number has been maintained. Long term plans are to remove some of the fields and migrate them to correct geographic asset in the signals data model. This will preserve the asset lifecycle.本数据集的交通信号控制区域面要素由康涅狄格州交通部（Connecticut Department of Transportation, CTDOT）开发，并由康涅狄格大学（University of Connecticut, UConn）与VHB完成更新。该要素类（feature class）通过数字化表征信号控制交叉口地理范围的区域生成。其属性数据从原有系统迁移而来，仅保留了交叉口编号字段。长期规划将移除部分冗余字段，并将其迁移至信号数据模型中对应的准确地理资产项下，此举将保障资产全生命周期的规范管理与可追溯性。
