4.1 Carlo Savina Archive – Selected Excerpts for the FILMUSP Project

Excerpts from the Carlo Savina Archive for the FILMUSP (Music Publishing and Film: : Toward a Production History of the Soundtrack in Italy) Project.
The dataset consists of one 63-page .pdf file (DANIELI - Fondo Carlo Savina FILMUSP) containing archival descriptions (location, inventory, contents) of 45 folders out of the 415 preserved in the Carlo Savina Collection, including full or partial transcriptions of: contracts between the composer and publishers/producers; letters of appointment; SIAE music cue sheets; autograph annotations on draft scores and working scripts; recording plans and production sheets; notes concerning rights, revenue sharing, transfers, and international exploitation. The documentation concerns films, productions, and records from the mid-1950s to the early 1980s involving Carlo Savina.
