A Chinese Named Entity Recognition Dataset for Intangible Cultural Heritage

We collected and constructed a Chinese named entity recognition dataset named ICH-NER for the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) domain. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first publicly available Chinese named entity recognition dataset specifically designed for ICH, containing a total of 7,779 labeled samples, 8 entity categories, and 21,244 annotated entities with 360,990 characters. Among them, several categories such as Material, Craftsmanship, and Nation have not been extensively studied in existing Chinese named entity recognition works related to cultural heritage.
