Diverse mammalian retinal ganglion cell types revealed by single cell transcriptome profiling

By single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis, we classify adult mouse RGCs into 28 types, which can be distinguished by distinct sets of characteristic genes or even by single gene markers.
