Silicate mineral compositions from a granulite facies mafic dike, northern Madison Range, Montana

These data are mineral compositions measured by electron microprobe, presented in the 2012 publication in Earth and Planetary Science Letters by Ault et al. The data are from one sample of a metamorphosed mafic dike sample (M08-72). The sample was targeted to help constrain conditions and timing of metamorphism and deformation in the Bear Trap Canyon area of the northern Madison Range, southwestern Montana. Pressure and temperature (P-T) equilibrium conditions calculated for the sample mineral assemblage constrain representative metamorphic conditions. Zircon geochronology data for this sample is also presented in the EPSL publication.
