Optimization of single neuron models for CA1 hippocampal neurons in rat (v4.0.5)

We developed a library of single neuron models for rat CA1 hippocampal neurons. The model morphologies were based on three-dimensional morphological reconstructions obtained in a previous study. Electrophysiological features of interest were extracted from experimental traces using custom code exploiting the open source Electrophysiological Feature Extraction Library (eFEL). Extracted features were then used for multi-objective model parameter optimizations performed using the open source Blue Brain Python Optimization Library (BluePyOpt).
