Supporting Data for "Microphysical Characteristics of Aircraft Icing Clouds and Synoptic Patterns over Southwest China"
收藏资源简介:
The processed datasets used in the article include the Nanjing Joint Institute for Atmospheric Sciences (NJIAS) Himawari-8/9 Cloud Feature Dataset (HCFD) at 0.04° spatial and 30-min temporal resolutions, Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Dual-frequency Precipitation Radar (DPR) Level-2 products, and ERA5 reanalysis datasets at 0.25° spatial resolution over Southwest China. The processed NJIAS-HCFD and GPM-DPR datasets cover the period from April 2022 to March 2025 and are used to characterize the seasonal cloud-top properties and vertical cloud microphysical structures, respectively. The processed ERA5 datasets include meteorological fields and derived environmental parameters used for the classification and analysis of synoptic patterns associated with aircraft icing. The original Pilot Icing Reports (PIREPs) used in the article are not included in this dataset due to data-sharing restrictions.
