Wastewater treatment facilities are a hub of microbial activity, and unlike many other environments, have a substantial influx of human influences. The goals of this project are to characterize the metagenome and resistome of a complex microbial community. This activated wastewater treatment site was previously identified as harboring the Candidate Division TM7. Sequences are derived from full fosmid inserts. Activated wastewater from San Jose-Santa Clara Water Pollution Treatment Plant.
