The samples were respectively from three replicates of the Cd-stress treatment and the control, then we obtained six cDNA libraries. In total, 237,866 transcripts and 191,370 unigenes were constructed. We got a total of 23,424 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), of which 12,558 were up-regulated and the other 10,866 were down regulated under the Cd treatment. Overall design: We select the robust plants with consistent growth for soil Cd stress treatment. Each plastic flowerpot was planted with one seedling, 15 pots per treatment. The experiment was repeated three times with a total of 90 pots. The control group (T01)did not add Cd solution, the concentration of Cd in the experimental group was 100mg/kg(T02). 20 days after Cd stress, all the plants were harvested. In this experiment, the seedings were grown in ambient conditions with a photoperiod of 14 h at 24±3℃ and a relative humidity of 75%. roots mRNA profiles of the development were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq.
