RPTEC cells were cultured and irradiated to induce cellular senescence. Bulk RNA-seq was performed to observe the transcriptional response. RPTEC/TERT1 cells were cultured under standard conditions and plated into six well plates. Two groups of 5 replices were studied. The irradiated group either irradiated (10Gy) or not irradiated (Control). After 7 days RNA was extracted, polyA-enriched libraries for RNA-seq prepared and sequenced.
