Creating a fully characterized genetic resource pipeline for mustard improvement programme in India. Genome wide association mapping for key agronomic traits in Brassica juncea

NASF funding allowed transfer of fully characterized novel germplasm resources developed under ICAR National Professor Project to national mustard breeding programmes. Project also succeeded in generating of genomic resources and novel information for candidate genes influencing variation for key life history and productivity traits in mustard. Genotyping data and genomic resources generated will be used for years to come by Brassica scientists for years to come.
