资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the study titled "Factors Influencing Caregivers’ Action to Vaccinate Adolescent Girls Against HPV: Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Controlled Trial in China." The study explores the factors influencing caregivers' decisions to vaccinate their adolescent daughters against the HPV virus in China.Data was collected through online questionnaires completed by 321 caregivers, capturing information on demographics, knowledge, attitudes, vaccine confidence, hesitancy, and willingness to vaccinate. The study was part of a randomized controlled trial, with a pay-it-forward intervention group and a standard-of-care group. Data on HPV vaccination uptake was obtained from an electronic vaccination registry system. The dataset includes variables related to caregiver characteristics, including employment status, knowledge of the HPV vaccine, prior vaccine refusal, and intention to delay vaccination. It also includes data on the HPV vaccination outcomes, comparing the impact of the pay-it-forward intervention versus standard careThis dataset provides valuable insights for researchers and policymakers interested in understanding the factors that influence HPV vaccine uptake in China, especially from the perspective of caregivers.
