This dataset accompanies the study “IGSF11–VISTA is a critical and targetable immune checkpoint axis in Diffuse Midline Glioma” . We investigated the spatial and cellular organization of diffuse midline glioma (DMG) and discovered a novel druggable target. By integrating single-cell/nucleus RNA sequencing with spatial transcriptomics, our study identifies distinct tumor–immune niches and reveals an IGSF11–VISTA signaling axis linking developmental-like tumor regions with homeostatic microglia. The deposition includes filtered and quality-controlled sc/snRNA-seq matrices from human DMG samples and an immune-competent mouse in utero electroporation (IUE) model, as well as Space Ranger outputs from newly generated human and mouse Visium spatial transcriptomics experiments.
