Gene expression analysis of phage Alderaan infected mycelium from S. venezuelae

To gain insights into the processes underlying adaptation to phage infection, we performed RNA-seq analysis of infected mycelium from the plaque interface of S. venezuelae wild type harvested 24 h and 72 h after infection with Alderaan. Overall design: Sampling for the gene expression analysis was done with infected and uninfected control samples in duplicates for the two time points 24 h and 72 h on agar plates.
